Disappointed I had eagerly looked forward to this book anticipating that it would be a fine and well written story. I was disappointed and felt that it was a book badly in need of an editor . In my opinion there were too many extraneous side comments that had no bearing to the story and too much back and forth in time and place. A Reluctant Enterprise does not reach the excellent standard set by Coffee Sonata, Blush Factor and Soul Unique.. Jacqui T said Great romance. I'm a great fan of Brooke Gun's writing and this book did not disappoint.. Typical Gun Brooke romance, not as good as her others This book was a typical Gun Brooke romance in that it was an interesting story with deep characters, but they were somewhat one-dimensionally described. This wasn't one of her better romances, I'm sorry to say. The writing came off as somewhat stilted, but I can forgive that since English is not her native language. The story had an interesting plot with some little twists that I didn't expect, but wasn't as deep as I would have liked. The ending summed up the romance well, but I didn't feel the same sense of satisfact
