An inspiring book for everyone fascinated by the waterfront, Beachlife presents a broad range of richly illustrated projects that promise to trigger the imagination.. It touches on the subject of rising water levels and shows how architects, artists and designers are responding to climate change
"Solid reference book" according to Jeffrey L.. Think beach-front architecture and the inevitable clubby Miami vision comes to mind. But this gorgeous collection of the gleaming architecture found seaside, from Miami to Barcelona to the Middle East, provides so much more insight into a universal breed of architecture that's particularly tricky to sustain. I particularly enjoyed the inclusion of original temporary and pop up stores by the water and the shorefront homes. Frankly makes for excellent reading while on the beach. My only complaint is that looking at the gorgeous photography made me wish I were lounging o. Lauren Neiman said Not houses. I thought it would be more houses and way of living, hence "Beach Life". Its actually a lot of architecture and larger building plans.
