"Pretty lightweight." according to Bamabelle. I must be under the impression that a "box set" is something other than it is. I should have paid more attention to the number of pages included in the "set". This is a very short, 69 page booklet, not including recommended readings. The carrier oil section includes only 10 of the most common oils with about 5 short paragraphs describing each oil. "Book 2" does go into certain skin types and what to use; hair types, and ailments, but doesn't have a lot of detailrather just skims the surface. It doesn't provide a lot of specific recipes, either. You can take the inf. Great Resource The title says it all. This book talks about what carrier oils are (you use them to dilute essential oils) and what the different types of carrier oils are. It also discusses the benefits of carrier oils (for both health and beauty). It discusses some of the characteristics of carrier oils that distinguish them from each other--what they are good for, how to use them, their shelf lives, and how they should be stored. Basically this is a great reference book for carrier oils.The second book in this set is Essential Oils & Aromatherapy. This book focuses on the essen. Helpful, useful information I never knew what carrier oils were or how to use essential oils properly until I picked up this box set. Carrier oils dilute essential oils for a variety of uses and essential oils are used to cure common health ailments, solve household problems, and even soothe the soul. The two books in this box set have so much helpful, useful information that I would recommend them to anyone just getting started with essential oils or even someone who needs some new information.
