At times there was too much info for me - especially letters to and from Diesel. I found myself skipping paragraphs because I wasn't interested. This is definately a complete history. The book's arrangement was a little disjointed, continuously going back in time to cover events that happened in parallel.The story of the diesel engine is very interest. ALL EUROPE S DIESEL ENGINES BOOKS PUT TOGETHER IN ONE ITEM A Customer ALL BOOKS CONCERNING THE DIESEL ENGINES UP TO 1918 PUBLISHED IN EUROPE ,MOST OF THEM IN GERMAN WHERE THE DIESEL WAS INVENTED,BROUGHT TOGETHER IN ONE COMPLETE REVIEUW ADDING THE AMERICAN ENGINES. THE BOOK IS ACCURATE,GOOD TO UNDERSTAN.EXCELLENT DRAWINGS+PICTURES.AND A FINE LAY OUT SO WHEN YOU GOT THIS BOOK YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY ALL THE OTHERS FOR HAVING A GOOD IDEE OF AN ENGINE WE CAN CALL IT A MUST AND COLLECTORS ITEM FOR DIESEL ENGINEERS TOGETHER WIT.
