This book is really about the foursome of Randy, Sam and Mitch and the new guy in Randy's life, Ethan. There is a great plot involving high stakes poker and an old style casino. But Mitch is sent away early in the piece and much of the book explores in depth the love between Randy and Sam rather than Randy and. amf0001 said Worth gambling on!. This is the second book, after the excellent Special Delivery. I would read Special Delivery first, to help understand the dynamics going on. It was nice catching up with Mitch and Sam again, but this is definitely Randy's book.Randy is a smart ass and a player but he is not cruel, and loves the game of poker and gambling in general.
