The text while well written tries to envoke a sence of family but does not quite draw one inalthough trying to sound nostalgic it feels fake and pinched. If one likes this type of style, Another better choice would be the books by Mary Carol Garrity and her work at Nell Hill. Although I don't give her a very favorable review in her decorating style when one reads her text. One of My Favorite Decorating Books S. Profit This book has wonderful ideas for styling vignettes, for using objects in different ways than they were intended, and the photos are 'eye candy'. I have no idea how many times I've picked up this book when I've needed a fresh idea or inspiration. It's one book that I will definitely keep in my library.. Love this book Jessicaussie I really enjoy reading this book over and over. It has some great styling ideas and inspiration.
