Delightful book Bluewater cruiser I've owned a Monk designed sailboat for 25 years and I love the comfortable sea handling and thoughtful experienced layout. I was delighted to find this book as Ed Monk Sr passed on before we made our 50,000 journey - so I missed the opportunity to share my appreciative experience in his design. But I did tell his son - Ed Monk Jr - how great it was. He wasn't surprised. Anyhow, I loved the book because it gave me a deeper understanding of the man and his art and craft.
