Louise Hall said Dissapointing. As a textile artist, I was hoping for instructional information on techniques not a coffee table book with pretty pictures.. Embellished is a 5 Star Winner!! A friend in art class showed me her copy. It was an immediate "must have" book. I do a lot of embellishing on my quilts and fiber art and saw some items I've used in Karen's book. I bought a copy for myself and a 2nd copy as a gift for a friend. She loved it too and put it on her blogspot to share with her other quilting crafting friends. Addie Davis. Karen Nicol is a well-known British textile artist/designer whose clients have included Chanel, Givenchy, Matthew Williamson, Clements Ribeiro, Anthropologie, Designers Guild, and the Powerhouse museum, Sydney.
