I bought this book mistakenly thinking it was all werewolf stories. Now I'm glad I did; it provides an excellent introduction to the world of warm and cuddly, hot and highly charged, romantic and erotic shape shifters of all sorts of fur and fang. If you like hot man on man action you will not be disappointed. "good were anthology" according to Deirdre. In October 2009 I read three stories in the paperback of the anthology FUR AND FANG."ALPHA"A very good story of two weres trying to be the alpha wolf, even though one is younger and unsure about things. The smaller is a fighter and strong despite his size. I really enjoyed learning about were lore. I always thought the author would be able to write a really good were story.Both men were strong and sensual, neither wanted to back down. How love/pack/mate is betrayed by a wolf's instinctive misunderstanding and the cruel treatment received. The confusion, the loneliness could be felt.. Missunshine said Great read.
