But this book is so much more. By the end, we weep when he weeps and leap for joy when he does. We feel the love he has for his family and friends, and feel as though we have taken the long journey from darkness into the light with him. This is an excellent, must read book. Martin has a beautiful voice, and I thank him for taking is along on his. Eye Opening This book is an excellent reminder that things are not always what they seem. It was thought provoking and bought forth a mix of gratitude, guilt, shame and finally determination. I realize that there will always be someone worse off than you. A person could be born in the poor family, but become successful years later through natural born intelligence and hard work.
