In moving testimonies of trial and triumph, partners voice their feelings about their partner’s gender transition and its effects on a range of issues, including childrearing, sexual intimacy, shifting relationship dynamics, public disclosure, finances and more. As media visibility of trans people rises, so does the need to hear from their loved ones who also go through transformations of their own when their partners transition. Love, Always is the first collection of writings by partners of trans people exploring the impact of gender transitioning on their relationships and families. These personal testimonies of resilient love and commitment are a refreshing alternative to the narratives of tragedy and loss encountered so often of trans people in the media.

"A NEEDED AND RARELY SEEN VIEW!" according to Dee Dee Jackson. A collection of short writings of many trans partners and their experiences. Some, like Angela Gail's, "BLESSIING OF CHANGE" and the EPILOGUE by Helen Boyd are well written. Many interesting examples for lesbians hooked up with partners leaning towards the "trans-man" world. I have nothing but praise for the contributors for bringing us this seldom heard from side of the trans world you did good!. Great book! Very helpful. debbie h Great book very helpful to partners. Still reading.. Amazon Customer said I think there are some interesting stories in this book. I think there are some interesting stories in this book. However, I see this as more of an artistic/abstract book rather than telling stories from the partner perspective of someone who is in a relationship with a transgender person. I personally benefit from memoir style stories, but I would still say that this is a worthwhile read.
