Great book as a learnign tool and reference on manufacturing. M.A. An extremely great book for learning about manufacturing. We've used this book in 4 of my classes and its been a great tool. Im definitely going to keep this book as a reference in future times. Just dont try to read 4 chapters in one go and expect to understand. Its very information packed.. leefis said good reference. used for MIT qualifying exams.. i used this book for MIT qualifying exams and it was a good overview. it covers quite a bit in terms of processesand not very mathy. a few errors in there, but good reference overall.doesnt deal with lean manufacturing or six sigma type stuff really.this will break your back if you have to carry it around while studying (like i did).. "The best textbook bargin" according to Thinker. This great tome arrived a bit late, but it arrived in perfect condition. The price is unbeatable. I would certainly look for my next textbook with this vendor.
