A Must Read for potential SLK Owners I found this book referenced on the SLK Forum website that Id used when I was researching information on the SLK prior to buying one. Unfortunately I found this AFTER I'd already purchased the car. I bought the Kindle version but if one is interested in buying a SLK I'd recommend getting the hard copy as the tables and information are more readily accessible. My one complaint is tha. Must have! Gremstich The definitive guide to SLKs. Everything you ever wanted to know, and more! Clearly written by a true enthusiast. If you own an SLK (171), you need this book.. RLM said Valuable information, weak writing. There is useful information in here and wonderful photos, but the writing is not the best. Perhaps it suffers from translation, or perhaps the author is simply someone who knows loads about SLKs but simply is not a born writer. It's still a useful book but a bit tedious to read. Maybe an aggressive editor would have helped.
