Good Read Typical Greg Herren whodoneit. Well written. Takes awhile to figure out who committed the crime. Nice twist to story. Set in New Orleans and he captures the flavor of the city and surrounding area. Enjoyed all his previous books with Scotty as main character. Will author be writing more Scotty based mysteries?. "My Favorite Herren Mysteries Series" according to Tom B. This series has kept me captivated since book 1. Each book, set in a different district, acting like a tourist map of New Orleans. Greg Herren fills his stories with lots of background and local color. But, there's more substance to Chance MacLeod than a bunch of stories, he's a top-notch detective and Greg Herre.
