TEDESCO said intelligent advice on quitting smoking. this book is dated now. it would be nice if there was an updated version with the advent of patches now in use.i found some of the statistics very illuminating and provided me with a strategy on quitting smoking which i am attempting to implement. for instance only half of all people who stopped smoking did so cold turkey. the other half had a well thought out plan of gradual cessation. which makes sense to me. we did not become smokers overnight so it's logical that we don't becom. A Customer said Excellent, to the point easy to understand. I recommend it to patients. It explains the addiction and why we still smoke even when we know its killing us. Some good examples, Its for people in precontemplating, contemplating and action stage of quitting. American lung ass. uses alot of the information. Have used information for trainning other health care providers.
