Working with and understanding a knit is very much different from woven .It would be nice to have a more simplified approach to working with knits, especially when working with beginners.The book appears to be a thorough and comprehensive, covering all aspects of designing knit fabrics through patternmaking. . A spiral bound design makes sense for easy and useful reference. The author has developed a knit patterning system that is unique.Topic is long overdue and very relevant. While most texts touch on knits, a text dedicated to knits would be adequate to build a complete project around.
