Jan Berry said Swedish Style. Katrin Cargill never fails to come up with the goods. Her books are interesting and informative as well as containing good information and excellent photographs. This book covers exactly what the title said, however, I think I was looking for more "Gustavian" decorating and perhaps more detail on how to achieve it. I was not at all disappointed with this book and have enjoyed many hours perusing it.. Beautiful interiors This is a lovely book with beautiful color pictures from what I think is authentic interiors. The author walks us through the essence of swedish style via colors, fabrics, accessories and furniture. I miss not having typical interiors and suggestions of how to decorate individual rooms such as hallways and kitchens etc. The main focus is on livingrooms and bedrooms. I still think it's a good purchase and this book gives me a lot of inspiration.. "I adore this book" according to Elizabeth O.. This book is so useful. The photographs are beautiful, and the text is wonderfully written. With a lot of decorating books, I get the sense that the books are put together very quickly in order to get them out to sale. But with this book, I get the sense that both the author and the photographer put a lot of time and effort into creating the book.
