I purchased the book because I live in Athens, Ellen W. Nelson I purchased the book because I live in Athens, Georgia where the Ben Epps Airport is located. When I mentioned to my nephew that I would send him the book after I finished reading it, he responded that Ben Epps and my mother were first cousins. Interesting to read this book which corrects some earlier research naming someone else as the first American to fly a bi-plane.. Linda O'Neal said Fascinating Read for Fans of Flying, Athens, Georgia, UGA, etc!. I got this book for my husband. His dad was a boyhood pal of some of the Epps kids. He is thoroughly enjoying the book, even marking passages to read aloud to me. Thanks for helping my guy expand his reading horizons. Now, if he'll just finish it so I can get my turn. Great book!
