"I expected more." according to Greg Linster. My suspicion is that most people will feel ambivalent, at best, about this book, unless they have a personal connection to Trivers. In this case, as in most, I fall into the category of "most people".The book, however, wasn't a total waste of time and I finished reading it. It contains a few doses of insights and the occasional interesting anecdote, mostly about life in Jamaica.. Waste of money. Amazon Customer So disappointing! Immaturely written and made me feel less respect for his theories.. "Gold." according to O Otvos. If you like anthropology and evolutionary sociology, read this book. It's the foundation.
