Not alone This literature work by Daniel Meier truly brings you into the writer's life not only as a child but an adult as well. Coming from a home with a workaholic father (not an alcoholic) I could truly relate for the first time and I no longer felt like an "alien". I was able to laugh, cry and even roll my eyes (due to irrational beliefs we all have) as I read through one man's journey of healing and finding forgiveness. I was unable to put it down as I relived repressed memories of my own childhood and found new ways to begin living again.This book is not only for the children from alcoholic families but for the spouses or significa.
