The stories he shared made me realize even more how lucky I was to have him care for me as I was growing up. He is an amazing surgeon with a HUGE heart! The work he has done over the years to help children achieve the best outcome possible is indescribable. Anyone who reads this book will know how important his work has been in many. "A Book That Matters!" according to Annie Bee. This is an excellent account of the life of a surgeon who followed his dream after a childhood where illness threatened to limit his aspirations.
