No offense intended to the author, but this is a rather short, amateurish kind of book, it does not have a lot of content. It also does not go very deeply into the topic, has short chapters, looks like it was done on a word processor, and just isn't written in a very sophisticated way. Again, no offense intended to the author, but there are a lot of other books that are far more comprehensive on this topic.. I found a few points contradictory, for example.* To bring solid coconut oil to liquid, use the microwave - AND - To bring solid coconut oil to liquid, run the container under hot water.It was never mentioned that coconut oil melts at a low temp. so just rub it between your hand.* The subtitle mentions 6 varieties of coconut oil, but only goes on to mention 5.* Organic coconuts are grown on SOLELY organic manure.* Cooking with coconut oil at high temperatures "oil isn't damaged"BUThe. Great ideas for use of coconut oil Michelle Smalls We use coconut oil for many things in our house from diaper rash cream, lotions and cooking. This book offered some great ideas for more ways to use coconut milk. It is a bit of a dry read which is why I only gave it 4 stars
