Most of the photos are black and white with a center section in colour. There is one factory drawing of a front 'stoneguard' and many uninformed readers will be surprised to learn of the successes of VW Beetles and derivit. "Definitive historical VW racing guide" according to A Customer. If you are a VW enthusiast--as I am, and you are looking for a historical view of VW racing (Factory and Privateer) then this is the book for you. I have searched extensively, and this book is the best--virtually the only book--I have found so far. I believe it is out of print, so get it while you can!!!
