They can stand alone, but I've read the whole series. I like seeing the people again. Not in the spirit of the previous books in the series The other books in this series were romantic and there was more individual character development. The ménage was something that was unnecessary and it was just not want I wanted to read. I was hoping for some closure for the whole clan. I'm sorry I wasted my money.. Mediocre Perhaps I have read too many of the previous stories, and found this one was not as interesting.
