Beautiful to look at! This is such a beautiful book and as I am especially taken with Doors, I knew it was and is a must have. I highly recommend it for its sheer beauty.. "How My Heart Races Over A Well-HungDoor." according to Dai-keag-ity. A beautiful collection, but I wish there had been some descriptive inclusion telling a bit about each doorway. I guess the intention was to make the focus strictly on the doors themselves, and let the imagination run wild. This book was a gift (thanks, you!) and I keep rotating it among a few others on a downstairs coffee table, and since many who come to my house seem to pause and look through it, I guess I'm not the only person who appreciates a good dol. "Doors" according to Dympna. I am creating a project on doors around the world and I believed that this would be the perfect book. The photographs are beautiful but there is no text. I wish that there could have been specific details as to where the doors were geographically and a little pertinent history relating to their design etc. Also there could have been a lot more diversity with regard to country, color, age etc. In spite of this the book is still a delight to browse through.
