"Easy to follow" according to Ike L. Coffman. This book has good, easy to follow instructions that step you through a process that starts out from beginner and ends up with a good understanding of the power and utility of SolidWorks 2008. The only negative is the lack of color, the text looks a little plain and could use some spicing up. However, as far as the utility goes, this is an excellent manual.. As our SolidWorks reseller WON'T supply us with the REAL SolidWorks training manuals this is an excellent substitute for our in-house SolidWorks training.I also like the Project based approach well done.Even thought SolidWorks makes extensive use of colour in their interface, black and white screen shots don't seem to detract from getting the point of view across colour would have made the rating 5 star.The VERY helpful publishers (on request) even sent an Instructors CD with PowerPoint slides to help the trainer to Australia no problem!
