"Not up to par" according to Jonathan Livingston Seagull. I've read all of Radclyffe's novels, and Firestorm was definitely lackluster in comparison. The plot was extremely weak, the characters not terribly well developed, and, though there was sexual tension, the sex scenes fell far short of what I've come to expect from Radclyffe. For a book entitled "Firestorm," this one didn't deliver much fire on several levels.. I hope Firestorm is not an indication that she has reached a saturation point and therefore her books become watered down versions.
