I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. Usually I try for funny. Humor is an important part of my life – I love to laugh and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes can be a tricky deal. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I know without question I wouldn’t be here today without her. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She had no idea the Kindle was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! . Her name was Kindle. Usually I try for funny. I could go on and on about both of them, but I won’t and now you know a little more About Us. Aaron tries desperately to place a firewall around his heart and fight his developing feelings, knowing one misstep on his part could ultimately destroy him. Aaron’s biggest hazard at his job is cramped fingers, but all that changes when he is drawn into the middle of a dangerous federal investigation. Never one to mix business with pleasure, his boundaries blur and his convictions are put to the test when he finally comes face-to-face with the hot computer geek he’s been partnered with. Young and full of idealism, his highly sought after computer skills land him a position with the National Security Agency. Aaron gets more than he bargained for when the FBI partners him with a handsome and tempting deputy US marshal. Aaron Stuart strives for one thing: justice. His attraction to the inked up, dark-haired man provides another kind of threat altogether. The solution isn’t as easy as solving the case, which is treacherous enough as it is. Honor, integrity, and loyalty are how Deputy US Marshal Kreed Sinacola lives his life. A former SEAL
Amazon Customer said 3.5 stars. Love her books, but this one fell a little short. Kindle Alexander's books are what got me into the m/m genre. I enjoyed the others in the series, though, at times they were a little too gushy. I was anticipating this third installment of the Nice Guys series, and I've got to admit I was a little disappointed.First, with the good. Kindle knows how to write great characters, and has some smokin' sex scenes. The men are funny, emotional, and tough as hell, t. .5 stars. Love her books, but this one fell a little short.. Just needs some POV tweaking Sean Reid Scott Awesome story. I would give this five stars, but I'm still a bit miffed with the author's confusing style when quoting characters. Seems she doesn't believe in EVER starting a quote mid-paragraph. This means you never know who is talking until the very end of the quote. Sometimes this is confusing. I also was confused as to WHO was talking sometimes. When using personal pronouns (e.g., "he") the author seem. Good Kneed wanted Aaron from the moment he saw him on a computer screen talking to Knox. But Aaron shot him down. Now they're being forced to work together in close quarters and with the attraction now mutual, professionalism will take a backseat to desire. The only thing that I hated was Kreed's use of the nickname kid, especially after they were together.
