Excellent Collector This extra thick book is perhaps the best "Interiors" book by Taschen because it includes many traditional and indigenous interiors -- not just hotels and luxury ex-pat digs. The photographs are fine, but the color is a bit on the flat and dull side. Is this cost savings the last minute? The pre-pub sample I saw in the Taschen bookstore seemed brighter and clearer in color. Maybe they changed the paper? Anyway, this is a book that begins to give the reader some idea of the greatness of indigenous buildings and dwellings (and their interiors) throughout Africa.
