I'm just getting into this book this semester and will most likely add to this review as the semester rolls along.A few impressions: Way too pedantic!The author fails to define many of the artistic movements of the time and expects the reader to know them. This is for an introductory course! Italian Futurists? Russia. Poorly organized I bought this book for an introductory design class. I found it to be difficult to follow and poorly organized. The author talks about concepts that he hasn't introduced yet. Additionally, the associated illustrations aren't right beside the text where they are referenced and that was frustrating to me.
