If you are looking for a housing concept for tropical places or some Indonesian antique, or authentic furnitures from the land of JAvA (hey even the internet LOVe java ;)) this is a good source. concise and clear description and the nice pictures will give ideas of colonial houses and original houses of java island.. "a beautiful, well-researched and well designed book" according to Teresa Woods. This book is an education and a delight. Insight and information from top Indonesian designers and photographers -- explore beatiful private homes and public spaces. Historical, timely, the authors present the vision of everyone from colonial architects to modern-day antique dealers. A steal at the price!
