In Jupiter’s Children, 16 girls, one boy and 12 adults from Cator Park School give their accounts of the events and their aftermath. On 21 October 1988 at 6.15pm the cruise liner Jupiter was sunk after a collision in the Aegean Sea with the Italian ship Adige. On board the Jupiter were 391 schoolchildren, 84 adults and 110 crew members. A teacher and a child were never found; two crew members died.
