I can't help but give this book 5 gleaming stars I can't help but give this book 5 gleaming stars. It had me snared from the first word, and wouldn't let me go. I started this one immediately after The Haunting of Timber Manor. And while I think out of the three books, I like Daniel and Hale the best as a couple, I liked the style of this book a bit more. This one flowed so well, and kept me so enthralled that I was losing whole chunks of time because I had no awareness of anything else going on outside of the book.
