"really cool for the enthusiast/restorer" according to Ian Peter Duke. I bought this book for my Dad, who got out of the Army in 1959 and went to Manhattan (dealership that no longer exists here in the DC area) to buy one with cash. He loved the car, but it plagued him with problems because it was so tiny, compared to the giant American cars that were the standard of the day (he got hit a few times). He continues to talk about it, and often, so I thought I would surprise him with it for his birthday. Ours was paperback (maybe they all are?). It's got a lot of detail for the restorer and shows nice photos. Likely talks about what to look for if you're seeking a candidate for . Russell Smith said THE QUINTESSENTIAL MGA RESTORATION GUIDE.. This is THE BEST damn MGA restoration guide you will EVER find. Detailed to the Nth degree. Nice big, clear picturesmany in color (or should I say colour?). Every little tid-bit is theread nauseum (unless you are a righteous MGA freak.like me). Money well spent. You probably won't be able to find a new copy but there are some good used version available. Scoop one up now before they are all gone!
