Fair coverage of subject miroku King's book is interesting and easily available. I found it readable and instructive. I have made a study of works on pre-Columbian textiles and find James W. Reid's pioneering articles for the publication,HALI, as well as his books,PLUMES d'ETERNITE (Paris) and MAGIC FEATHERS (London) . Fabulous Examples Heidi King's book provides fabulous examples and a comprehensive discussion of this ancient art form. The publication stimulates reflection on the talents and imagination of the people of Precolumbian Peru. If one requires additional examples and discussions, I would recommend some of J. "Featherworks by H KIng" according to Gary E Dunham. Heidi KIng has knocked it out of the park with this book. Excellent scholarship throughout. Many never before seen examples of these exotic creations. Thank you Heidi and the other contributors .
