Philologus said Brilliant romance with a different story line as usual. Brilliant story and brilliant writing - of all three books of this series which are very good - this was my favourite to read . Not only was there a totally different start for a romance (the break up), it was very well executed and believable too (without too much psychotherapy in it). How on earth did Lea Santos pack such a great story with such a roller coaster of emotion in about 150 pages? An. Story Imperfect Paloma has had enough. After what seems like a lifetime of being Deanne's wife, she decides she had enough of a litany of Deanne's shortcomings. She tells Deanne she must leave their home and the two sons they've had together. Deanne is devastated. Bringing sexy back It wasn't my favorite out of the series but i did enjoy it. While I think P was a little rash in her decisions in the beginning I like that she and Dee were able to work it out. I especially enjoyed the journal entries and the memories from when they were together in high school.
