Good history of the SCL I bought this book looking for a history of the SCL and photos of the railroad in action. On the history side of things, this book is excellent. It explains the first movement towards merger in the 50s and also provides a nice summation of the Seaboard System railroad.However, I was disappointed at how Virginia and North Carolin. This book is a great companion to those Gomer Jones I already have purchased previously published TLC books on the Seaboard Airline and Atlantic Coast Line Railroads.
