R. Riis said Marvelous history of the Mercury-Gemini-Apollo years. Berman has a gift for making the complex easy to understand while not watering down the details and keeping the reader engaged. Berman's history of NASA's manned space program through the Apollo years is a fascinating read, full of detail and human interest and revelations about the flights and behind-the-scenes stories I have read nowhere else.
