Book was very helpful and informative Very useful and informative book. Although used the condition was quite good. Was very informative. Some might consider it a bit outdated, but the techniques and technology of oxy-acetylene haven't really changed over the years and anyone interested in welding, cutting steel, brazing, etc would probably find the book very useful.. Potshot said Good historical reference.. Good book for historical welding methods. Lots of info in case you ever plan to use oxy-acetylene for welding, cutting etc. Grab one before theyare gone if you are interested in knowing how to use some of the old methods.. RF said Oxy-Acetylene Handbood. If you can get a copy of this book, you wont need any other references to get you up and running welding with Oxy-Acetylene. It was written by Linde and some great Guys that knew what they were doing. If you are thinking about TIG, start with Oxy-Acetylene if you can. You'll be that much ahead in skill set.
