Would like for Mr, Dixon and Griffin to come on down the coast with books on South Carolina, North Czrolina, Georgia anf Florida on the railroads in these states. Really a great book on Virginia railroads.. It left out the branch line of the Pennsy that Roseannn Eells It left out the branch line of the Pennsy that ran from Hagerstown MD down to Winchester VA. That would have run about 10 to 15 miles inside of Virginia. This would have been the old Cumberland Valley Railroad running down from Harrisburg PA to Winchester.. "WV Rails vol.1" according to Gomer Jones. If you are into Virginia history, this book is a must have. The development of railroads in Virginia contributed greatly to the growth and prosperity of the state.
