My mother got sick with breast cancer while I was still very young and the fear of losing her coupled with my fathers unpredictable behavior kept me in a constant state of uncertainty. I came from the blue collar place that is the joke of many Baltimore deejays called Dundalk. After many attempts and false starts I started writing in earnest in 2007 just keeping a journal and writing some short stories. I found escape in the written word and by creating worlds all my own , I wrote many poems and stories before leaving home at fifteen.
