Not What I Was Looking For C. Uccelli As a social worker, I was looking for activities that would elicit insight from the clients, rather than just telling them how to act. They should come to their own conclusions. There are many, many more informational handouts than there are client worksheets in this book. The worksheets that are given are a bit complex and are best suited for high-functioning adult clients.. JBaker said Great mental health nursing resource. This book came in handy during my clinical section in the mental health unit. It gave me additional tools to use when talking to the patients. It is a nice resource to use during school. Some of the activities were good to evaluate yourself and to view the way you think. It helps to open your mind to a different way of thinking.. COUNSELORS< BUY THIS< ITS SUPER!! AS a new addiction counselor this book is critical to give you ideas and good info for clients. Group would benefit immensely from the info in the book. Easy to read, easy to copy for clients. Many ideas for homework or topics to discuss. I will be buying more of these!
