DESCRIPTION:
Inspired by eighteen years in the bible belt, and then three years of minimum wage in the Bay Area, this composition is decided into three sections of fourteen poems; the first deals with anger catalyzed by the aftermath of the Pulse shooting, the second focuses on depression and disillusionment after dislocation, and the third is fueled by exhaustion in the aftermath of a broken-family upbringing.. Abomination is a collection of poetry and prose focused on the concepts of queerness, illness, and the objectification of those two qualities, as experienced by a non-cis, non-straight orphan from a small, conservative town in the south
Gorgeous and heartwrenching, with a unique style of illustration Gorgeous and heartwrenching, with a unique style of illustration. I'm a huge fan of Idler's artwork - it's intensely personal, using vibrant colors and geometrical forms, in a style that doesn't care about mimicking mainstream conventions, only about what feels right to the artists. Idler's art is one of the most genuine, personal ones I've ever seen.. Amazon Customer said Great read.. Abomination is raw, real and heartwrenching. The author's voice is clear and paints a unique picture through their words. Great read.
