DESCRIPTION:
. From the Publisher This volume offers a relationship-oriented approach to the concepts of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics, and shows how to apply them in designing or analyzing a wide range of energy system components
Useful for practicing engineers as a reference book, particularly for reference for piping systems, pumps, and heat exchangers.. This edition includes MathCad as the arithmetic engine, and Math Cad worksheets are included for every procedure in the book. It includes a large number of realistic examples and problems, with an emphasis on problem formulation and solution, not programming, and on component details. Analysis and Design of Energy Systems is a readable, self-contained (data, properties), computer based and applications oriented book. Topics

Hope to god you don't need it for any open book test because it'll confuse you more.. rigoberto sida said It meets the expectations for the class It'll be better if it had a solutions manual With it. It meets the expectations for the classIt'll be better if it had a solutions manualWith it.. "EXCELLENT BOOK" according to Baby Rodz. I used this book for my Thermodynamics III course and I can tell you : This is an excellent book!! It will show you step by step how to solve the problems included in the book. Since most of the problems use iterative procedures like hardy-cross method you will need to use some sort of mathematical package to solve them. The book includes sub-routines from MathCad that will help you with most of the problems. Be aware that some sub-routines will not work in the newer versions of mathcad packages; if you can use an older one, it will be better.
