This book covered all the basics for me to be able to find my way through hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot systems.. jnorthern said hyd reference. This is a basic breakdown of components that make up a hydraulic system and put in simple terms.It is a good book to read for a refresher course on hydraulic breakdown in case you haven't worked on a system for a while.. I purchased this book for a general explanation of hydraulic TMK I purchased this book for a general explanation of hydraulic systems to understand how to repair them. Unfortunately this book was written for AIRCRAFT hydraulic systems and is not applicable to general purpose systems .
