wasted weekend Keep with Don Casey. This book was useless. There were no specific projects that were detailed from start to finish. There was one page about screw types which was heplful, but very basic. If you have ever done any work on your boat, you won't need or want this book. If you want to start to do some work, find another book, this won't help at all.. Good book A. Burns I needed a book for beginners, a book that doesn't assume you already know specialty terms and techniques, and this book is it. Other books that I reviewed on this particular topic assumed too much knowledge for beginner to mid-level readers. This book does not have that shortcoming. It is exactly what I needed. It is very well-illustrated and develops from basic to advanced in a suitable progression. I recommend this book for boatowners who wish to learn useful woodworking skills to improve their boats, especially sailboats.
