Stool is a Bit Too Wide for Most Chairs Janie I bought these plans to use in constructing the footstool. my stool worked out well but was a bit too wide for most Adirondack chairs. If you build this stool, I suggest you reduce its width from 27 inches to 22 inches.. "THE PLANS ARE FINE, HOWEVER THE PATTERNS ARE NOT" according to Steven L Matthews. THE PLANS ARE FINE, HOWEVER THE PATTERNS ARE NOT. THEY DO NOT PRINT TO THE CORRECT SIZE AND ARE UPSIDE DOWN AND THE NOTES IMPOSSIBLE TO READ.
