A Captivating and Realistic Read. This book paints a very no nonsense view of the life of a transgender person. It is both very informative and mixed with Lannie's spectacular sense of humor making it a very easy read. This book deals with real issues that transgender people face every day and goes through her early life to her recent life giving a very detailed look at all aspects of her transition and the impacts associated with it.My review cannot do this book . "Mind blowing!" according to Samuel Rafael. What a story. What an adventure. What honesty. This book is simply mind blowing. The author very frankly addresses the agony and ecstasy of being transgendered. A beautiful tapestry surrounds the death of her mother, bringing up numerous universal family issues for the reader. Also read the "Journey" book.
