Several images appear to be from old advertisements, others from magazine articles. Who ever picked them/edited the book has a nice eye for stuff that most people reading this would currently enjoy. For instance the 50s trend of colonial furniture is lightly touched upon, but familiar modern classics (not too much!) mingle with things you may have never seen before. Also you get a nice idea of what the designers of the time considered stylish. I have a ton of MCM architecture books and a handful of interior design stuff, this fits in nicely with them all.. Pretty rooms My daughter requested this book and she loves it!
