An enjoyable read with two extremely well developed characters and wonderful setting. RLynne Karis Walsh is wonderfully talented in creating complex, interesting characters. In Love on Tap, she has world famous archaeologist Berit Katsarus who was badly injured on the job and is now facing a quiet life teaching at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. while she recovers, Karis is frustrated at not being able to go to a "dig", and frustrated that she feels she is a terrible teacher. Tace Lomond is Berit's landlady. Tace feels that she is personally lacking, living in a college town without a college degree. What she does have, however, is excellent insight and common sense. She is able to help Ka. Alicia said I've read this author other books and like them but this one just not appeal to me. I have mix feeling for this one I could not identify with any of the characters and the whole thing just has me skipping pages to get to the end. I've read this author other books and like them but this one just not appeal to me.Arc given by NetGalley for a honest review. No surprises in this basic tale of love on campus While you know where this is going to end up from the get go, the story is still fun and interesting. There is enough detail and development so that the main characters are believable. The side characters are completely predictable and cookie cutter. It seems as if the author considered them a necessary evil. This is a passable romance with no real drama; some good steam in the scenes where its needed. All in all a well paced but predictable tale that leaves a warm feeling.
